Well 'the honeymoon's over'... at least that's what people say
But I can't say that I agree, because I love David more each day!
Our second year began in Myrtle Beach of all places,
We drove 20 hours to discover that Steve, from Airbnb, had replaced us!
We spent the night at Castaway Inn,
Praying that not too many bugs would get in.
Luckily our trip's rocky start was not a sign of things to come,
This past year we had so many great adventures, lots of laughs and tons of fun!
In October we moved into 335 Sugar Maple,
which cut our commutes in half and meant we didn't have to pay for cable! :)
We loved living with Madeline, Robert, sometimes mom and dad, and John,
It felt like a party that was always, always on.
In December we went to London England to do Christmas like the British,
8 of us stayed in an apartment of 900 square feet-ish.
But we loved every minute of being together-
biking, running, talking and walking no matter the weather!
I'll never forget High Tea with the girls or the angels on Regent Street,
being pushed into the Serpentine River or walking 30,000 steps in one day- what a FEAT!
When we got home it definitely felt more relaxed
but with the golf trip, DIY night, Friday night hockey, KidsQuest and our jobs we still felt pretty 'maxed'!
On March Break I took off for a week,
and headed to London then Portugal with my parents to check out the beach!
While the weather for beaching was less than ideal,
my parents and I did some fab. hikes, had lots of chats and ate some great meals!
In April we started a church running club,
While David wasn't initially stoked, it's something he grew to love!
A little later in April John tore the tendon in his ankle,
Let's just say we'll never go back to SkyZone, even when John's able.
Then we both turned 27 and decided our life goals should be re-evaluated,
In our list of 'to do's' looking more like Christ needed to be elevated!
So that brings us to this anniversary...the big 2!
David, there's only a few things I want to say to you:
I like you LOTS
I love you MORE
Being your wife is still no chore!
I'm so happy I said "I DO" two years ago today
I wouldn't want to go through life with anyone else or in any other way!
CHEERS TO YEAR 3 LOVER!
Hi! I'm Mrs. Julia Dawe,
