I must admit that I've never been a big thrift store shopper. Sure, I've gone into a few thrift stores to browse for Halloween costume pieces etc., but I'd never think to look at a thrift store for ACTUAL clothes! Well, on Friday I had the opportunity to help celebrate the re-opening of the Salvation Army's thrift store in Richmond Hill (by leading a kids timbrel group). After our performance I got to shop around and WOW was I impressed! The store was beautiful and clean, neatly organized, AND it was stocked with some really great stuff! Here's what I walked out with....
Item #1: ZARA purse! My go-to bag has almost run it's course. Unfortunately the bottom corners of the bag have started to wear and I've been on the hunt for a new bag that can fit a lot, but also look cute! With it's cognac colour, large size and unbelievable price, THIS bag checked off all of the boxes for me! I'm so excited about this find!
Item #2: Okay. I'm totally stoked about these shoes! The picture doesn't show it, but they are actually a really sweet blue colour. I've loved this style for a while, but David would never let me pay the $100 to get it (I mean, they're def not everyday shoes)!! BUT, at $25 bucks, these shoes were too cool to pass up!

Item #3: Burgundy booties! My favourite part about these shoes is the elastic sides! I own a pair of black suede booties with the same elastic detailing, and they are the BEST because they are so easy to slip on and off AND they look super cute! I think the burgundy colour will add a really fun punch to lots of outfits without being over-the-top! :)

If you haven't been to a thrift store recently, I'd highly suggest that you do! Who knows!? YOU might have some FAB FINDS too!
