Dry shampoo. It's basically the biggest thing in hair since 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner! So many people say they can't live without it, but before this weekend I'd only tried it once and hadn't been 'wowed'. Since I don't like to wash my hair everyday (washing and styling takes WAY too long), but I also don't like the way my wisps start to look greasy on day 2, I had been wanting to experiment with dry shampoo for a while. This past weekend I rounded up a group of friends and we put 4 different brands of dry shampoo to the test! Here's what we thought about each one:
Product: Klorane Dry-Shampoo with Oat Milk
Notes: After trying the product, it came as no surprise to us that this dry-shampoo won the Readers Digest editors choice award for best dry shampoo in 2017! We really loved the way it smelt and felt! Our only complaint is that it left a gray residue that required lots of hair tousling to hide.
Brand: got2be Encore Fresh Dry Shampoo
Notes: David's face says it all. While it did an okay job of hiding grease, and felt fine to touch, we couldn't get past the potent smell!
Brand: CO LAB Volume Extreme Dry Shampoo
Notes: This was by far the worst dry shampoo we tried. It went on clear but felt extremely sticky and heavy, almost like a cheap hairspray! An hour or two after applying the product, our hair looked more greasy than it had pre-treatment.
Brand: Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo
Notes: This was our favourite product HANDS DOWN! It had no scent, it went on clear and it did a fantastic job of hiding grease! All of us said we'd buy this one again!
Look at these gorgeous girls! I couldn't imagine a better group of hair models to hang out with! ;)
