This is probably what David expected marriage to be like- daily feet massages in bed.
2 months in.....THIS is reality- bandaging up the cuts on my feet in bed. ha. #sorrynotsorry #insicknessandhealth #thanksDavid
WOW. When Friday came I was SO SO SO ready for the weekend! David and I went to Ikea after work on Friday to pick up a desk and end table. When we got home at 7:30ish I lay down on the couch and fell asleep....I woke up at 9ish only to move to my bed, where I slept deeply until 7:30am the next morning! HA- pathetic, I know! Anyways....I'm feeling rested and ready to tackle week 2!
This weekend's highlights:
(**IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED SH'BAM....GO DO IT!! THE BEST/MOST FUN WORKOUT EVER!!**)
Exactly 1 year ago yesterday, on Friday September 12, 2014, David asked me a question that would change our lives forever. I had just left my classroom, exhausted after finishing my second week of teaching. When I was approaching my car, I saw a white envelope attached to the driver window and automatically assumed someone had hit my car and left a note with their contact info. UGH. It was the last thing I needed after a long week of work. I opened the letter and saw that, surprisingly, it was a note from David asking me to meet him at a nearby park. My heart was RACING. I followed the directions that David had left and when I arrived at the park, I marched right up to him and said "David. Are you proposing to me right now?" (HA) David replied "Just listen. Let's go for a walk." After a few minutes down the path, I asked David again, "David, are you proposing to me right now???" David ignored my question and kept walking and talking (I had NO clue what he was going on about because I was so busy trying to figure out whether he was actually proposing or just joking around!!) I asked a THIRD time and (finally) David got down on one knee, pulled a ring box from out of his sock (classy....lol) and asked me to marry him. I said "YES!" We called our families, friends and of course, quickly made it FACEBOOK official!
10 months and 12 days later, on July 24, 2015, we were married! Here are some pictures of our day...
Hi! I'm Mrs. Julia Dawe,
